Once you’ve made the decision to try contact lenses, what’s your next step?
You’ve decided you want to wear contact lenses to correct your eyesight but don’t know what to do next?. Start by consulting one of our eye care practitioners for a fitting. It’s easy to book an appointment online or you can call into our branch in Peacehaven. If you have a valid prescription that’s within the expiry date, you won’t need another Eye Test to get contact lenses.
Our team of specialists understand that every person is different, and so every fitting appointment is different. An eye and contact lens examination is about much more than assessing your vision. We want to determine if you are suitable for lens wear and discuss your visual and lifestyle requirements.
Your first checkup is just to see how you’re getting on with your contacts and to discuss any problems you may be having. This should take place around two to three weeks after you’ve started wearing your new lenses.
After that, annual aftercare checkups will give us a picture of your eye health and ensure your contact lenses remain appropriate for your needs.
